Child-seat luggage combines a travel case with a seat that folds into the shell. For families moving through a large airport or station, it can give a child a temporary place to sit while the adult keeps the suitcase under continuous control. Moonba MultiCarry is luggage first. It is not a stroller, toy or vehicle restraint, and it should be used only on flat, level surfaces with the safety belt fastened and an adult holding the case. How child-seat luggage works The seat back opens from the suitcase and creates a supported sitting position. When it is folded away, the case functions as regular hard-shell luggage. Moonba models use spinner wheels, a front-opening packing compartment and an integrated safety belt. One child aged 2 or older may sit on the seat. The rider and packed contents together must remain below the stated load limit. Before each trip, check the seat hinge, belt, handle and wheels for damage or looseness. 18″ and 20″ Moonba models are different The 18″ Classic 2nd Gen is the smaller model and includes braked spinner wheels. It is offered in white and black. The original 20″ Classic 1.0 has 52 L of capacity and comes in yellow or white/grey. It does not have a wheel brake. Keep a hand on this model at all times when a child is seated. Carry-on is determined by the airline A product’s “18-inch” or “20-inch” name does not guarantee that an airline will accept it in the cabin. Airlines normally assess the full exterior measurement, including wheels and handles. Limits can differ by carrier, aircraft, route and fare. The 20″ Classic 1.0 measures about 15.5 × 11.5 × 23.6 in (39 × 29 × 60 cm) including wheels. Compare the complete dimensions with your airline’s current published allowance before travelling. Where the seat should and should not be used Use the seat only where you have plenty of clear space on a flat, stationary floor. Avoid stairs, escalators, slopes, moving walkways, kerbs, traffic and crowded boarding lines. Do not allow a child to ride when the case is empty or unstable. Fasten the safety belt, keep the child’s hands and clothing away from moving parts, and never leave the seated child unattended.
