A child-seat suitcase should be treated as luggage with a temporary seat, not as a ride-on toy. Safe use depends on a suitable surface, a fastened belt and continuous adult control. Before the child sits down Move to a flat, level area away from traffic and moving equipment. Check the wheels, shell, handle, seat hinge and safety belt. Make sure the luggage contains enough evenly distributed packed weight to remain stable. Open the seat fully according to the product instructions. While the seat is in use Seat one child aged 2+ only. Fasten and adjust the safety belt. Keep one hand on the suitcase and stay beside the child. Move slowly only where riding is permitted and there is clear space. Keep hands, feet and loose clothing away from wheels and hinges. The brake on the 18″ Classic 2nd Gen can help keep the wheels stationary. It does not make it safe to leave the case unattended. The original 20″ Classic 1.0 has no wheel brake. Maintain a secure grip whenever a child is seated. Places to avoid Never use the seat on stairs, escalators, slopes, ramps, moving walkways, kerbs, rough ground or near vehicles. Fold the seat away before entering a crowded security line, boarding area or any location where staff ask you not to use it. Loading and stability The stated load limit includes both the rider and everything packed inside. Pack heavier items low and distribute contents evenly. Do not exceed the product limit, and do not let a child sit on an empty or top-heavy suitcase. Checking the luggage for a flight If the suitcase will be checked, fold and secure the seat, remove loose accessories, and store the compatible cushion inside. Inspect the case after collection at baggage claim before using the seat again. After every trip Wipe dust from the shell and wheels, allow all parts to dry, and check the belt and seat hardware. Stop using the seat function if you see cracks, loose fasteners, damaged webbing or wheels that do not rotate or brake normally.
