The main difference between Moonba MultiCarry 18″ and 20″ child-seat luggage is control versus packing space. The 18″ Classic 2nd Gen is more compact and has braked spinner wheels. The original 20″ Classic 1.0 provides 52 L of capacity but does not have a wheel brake.
The Moonba MultiCarry Classic 18″ 2nd Gen includes a wheel-brake system, hidden seat, safety belt, front-opening storage and an organized interior. Its trapezoidal shell is designed for stability, while the temperature-keeping pocket helps organize children’s snacks or drinks.
The Moonba MultiCarry Classic 20″ 1.0 has a fold-up seat, safety belt, 360° spinner wheels, front-opening 52 L storage, a TSA-approved combination lock and a Bayer polycarbonate shell.
The 20″ Classic 1.0 has no wheel brake. An adult must keep a hand on the luggage and maintain control whenever a child is seated.
That depends on the airline, route, fare and aircraft. Model names such as “18-inch” and “20-inch” are not the same as an airline size approval. Airlines normally measure the complete exterior, including wheels and handles.
The 20″ Classic 1.0 is approximately 15.5 × 11.5 × 23.6 in (39 × 29 × 60 cm) with wheels. Check your airline’s current limits before travel. When in doubt, plan for the possibility that the case must be checked.
Choose the 18″ 2nd Gen when a wheel brake and smaller format matter most. Choose the 20″ 1.0 when you need the stated 52 L capacity and understand that the original model must be held because it has no brake.
